I have a 95 chevy astro with a Viper 300 alarm I need to program the remote but I found there is no momentary button to enter the codes. Does anyone know what i need to do to program my remote???

You will have to access the button. If your installer did not put it in you will need to either buy one or make your own. There should be a 2 pin blue port on the brain that needs to be shorted out each time the button is pressed.

i have a really really old 300 that uses the gray wire hooked to the valet switch. it was made before the days of blue port.

its kinda funny.. the installation instructions were a single piece of paper about 5x7 inches.

remote had about a 35 foot range.

Use the valet switch to program. just toggle it on-off. This is the same as to push momentary button.
