HI EVERYONE
In regards to wiring diagram of cavalier 2005 specificly trunk release I pulled out the BCM blue plug to locate black WITH WHITE STRIPE WIRE BUT I NOTICED THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE ABOVE MENTIONED WIRE. Could you please help how to locate the exact wire .Thanks a lot mike

All else fails, use your Digital Multi-Meter. Set meter to 20v DC. Red lead to +12 volts constant. Black lead to suspect wire. Press trunk release and look for meter to go to +12v briefly as trunk pops open. ------------- Soldering is fun!

Its been a while and I didn't take any pictures, sorry. Car manufactures do that a lot, putting wires with identical colors in the same plug. If memory serves me, it was fairly straight forward and easy to locate, test and verify. A Digital Multi-Meter is an indispensible tool in this business...

gm's generally label their plugs. look closely at that harness when you pull it out. should have one side labeled "A" and the other "B", then one end starting at "1" and the other "12"
