Hello, i recently went about installing a Viper 5301 in my scion tc. I have everything else working on the remote start except when the car goes to do the remote start it goes through the start-up sequence and even sends power to my starter 1 and my starter 2 wire but the starter does not crank. My question would be do i need to isolate the starter wire from the key side and do i just use the Violet H3/4 wire to power both starter wires with relays, or do i program the remote start to use the relay function and if so, how do i go about wiring that. Ive looked at the Tech Doc #1077 and not sure if that applies to my car. ive tried a bunch of different wiring configurations and no luck still. The only other thing i can think of is my bypass module not being wired correctly or programmed correctly. I have the PKALL for a bypass module and im fairly positive that it is wired correctly and programmed. when i programmed it, it said that the light would flash ten times to confirm it is programmed. Well it flashed, but it flashed so fast i couldnt really tell if it was ten times or how many flashes it was......
Any info or ideas is appreciated. Or just a straight out "hey stupid connect these wires to these wires and it will work!" Would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

Your Scion TC has two Ignition wires and two Starter wires at the ignition switch. If you left the 5301 flex relay as ING2 and connected it to the cars Ignition 2, you will need an extra Starter output for the Starter 2 wire. It's really not a good idea to use the one 5301 H3/4 starter output to power both of the TC's starter wires. Toyota made them seperate for a reason. Also did you connect all the 5301's input power wires?
Perhaps if you listed the wire connections from the 5301 to the car and the PKALL we might be better able to see the problem.

I have had an issue with one of my installers(now fired) connecting both starter wires together on Toyotas. Every one he did got towed back a few months later with the AM1 fuse blown. DO NOT connect them together, use separate relays. Once you are sure your wiring is correct and you still have an issue, hold a key against the key cylinder while it starts. This will allow it to see the keys code. If it starts, the problem is the bypass. If it doesn't the wiring is still wrong.
