Hello!!!

On 2008 Honda Accord, one of the park lights (R-Front) is OFF during remote start. However, it does turn ON when park light switch is turned ON (so the bulb is still fine). I'm using Ultra Start on this vehicle and set the park light jumper to positive. I have never encountered this kind of issue though I'm thinking "maybe" the park light wire from R/S doesn't provide enough current resulting the R-Front bulbs not to turn ON. For now I'd like to know what our experts here got to say before trying anything else..

Thank you very much!!

The Ultra Start can handle 10 amps on the parking light output.  Are you sure you got the right Red wire in the Drivers Kick Panel?

I think I would try the Honda's low current (-) parking light wire.  It's usually easier to find and sometimes safer.  Switch the Ultra Start parking light polarity jumper over to (-) and go to the Gray (-) wire at the headlight switch.

I'm sure I've got the correct RED wire from the kick panel, same wire I've used to the last two 08 Accord I worked on.

I'll try using the negative input and see what will happen.

Using the negative wire at the steering column will fix this 100% for sure.

The positive wire at the fuse box does not illuminate the right-front parking light on the outside of the car.

Maybe there's another positive wire you could find somewhere else, but I never bothered looking for it, as the negative wire is right there anyway.

the red at the fusebox will only power up the driver side. If you want to use the positive you will need to run the wire to the passenger fuse box.

just use the negative at the switch. If you need a diagram with pictures, follow the link.

i make a how to with pics etc.
