Trying to program resistance on PLXR 3.0, but the light flash is not as described in the instructions. Setting the Passlock after reset goes fine, I need Passlock 1, so I tap button once, and module goes from three blinks to one. This is where things go off the script.
I hold the button to exit Passlock program, and after releasing, the light is solid on. From here, if I tap the button once, I hear a relay click, light blinks once, and it appears to exit programming and no more lights at all.
The instruction say it’s a two step button and relay click with key at the ON and then at CRANK positions. I have two modules that do the same thing so it’s not the module.
The car will remote start with the key in and turned to the ON position, as in one short of cranking. Any ideas of what I need to do to correct?

It looks like you have a XK06 loaded with the PLXR V3.0 firmware.
For the Passlock 1 type install you should follow the install guide for Type D installs on page 4 of 5 in the install guide.
Double check your wiring to make sure it matches the Type D install. Also don't connect the Brown wire ( GWR ) to the remote start yet. Then do the Reset procedure first. Next follow the guide for Step 1 and Step 2.
Hopefully, that should do it. Good luck. ------------- Soldering is fun!

The truck is an 06 H3 so I wired up as described on page 3, install C. The manual says it has Passlock, but the ignition harness wires fit page three.
Doesn't matter if I select Pass1 or 2 on the XK06, the code programming is described as install D with only one click or the relay.
I can get vehicle to start by running IGN WHITE/ green directly to output start of remote starter, but runs for 10 sec, and then dies. Tach wire is good. Not seeing ouput voltage on pink of XK06.

Ahhh, that changes everything. I thought the car was a Passlock 1. The H3 is the same as a Colorado. ( Its a modified Passlock 2 ) Try this for the H3. ( The instructions are very confusing. Guess thats why I prefer iDatalink... )
Do the reset again and it should default to Type 3 ( three blinks ). Make sure it is set to 3 blinks and save the selection. Then follow the Step 2 programming instructions for the Type C install on page 3.
That should work.

Gave up on the XK06. Everything was wired correctly, tried programming many times. No go. Ended up measuring resistance, and using two relays. That worked the first time.
Thanks for your help, and I suggest to anyone doing remote start install on a 2006 Hummer H3 to go old school and bypass the bypass.
