92 accord lx horn wire location?

Im sorry. I've searched and i've searched the forums. I cannot find the information I need on the horn wire. I"ve a 92 accord LX.. I've removed the steering column and I still cannot locate the horn wire. I found the horn relay.. And it contains a wht/blu, black, wht/ylw, & blu/red wire(s).. When I connect the blu/red wire to the black one. My horn sounds off.. Other than that, nothing... I've tried grounding the blu/orangish wire and it still doesn't make the horn sound.. But my test light does indicate that it provides power.. I have not been able to locate the correct wire. I've seen people suggest looking in the srs loom.. I've looked in the yellow loom at the base of the steering colum, and all of the wires in it are gray.. there are 5... There's only one wire that I found that's LT Grn/Blu and when I try grounding it.. Nothing happens... I thought maybe it wouldn't work because my relay may be bad(the buttons on the steering wheel dont activate horn..) but when I supplied another relay(one of the relays from under the hood).. I still get the same results all around.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.. btw.. the only LT Grn/Blu wire that I found is in the same harness as highbeams and it does nothing when grounded.

I looked at the wiring charts available here but I still have not had any success.

The wire blu/red and the blu/orangish wire are one in the same. I wasn't sure on the exact color.

Directechs lists the light GREEN/ blue wire as it. They also state a relay is needed due to high current ground.

the wire i have listed is Lt.GREEN/ Blue (-) @ the steering collum.

are you randomly sending polaritys to wires without testing them?!

use a volt meter. I wouldnt be surprised if oyu damages some electrical, or shorted something out.

With that being said, the horn requires you to use a relay, as its a high current draw circuit.

Thanks! Presumably the one light grn/blu wire that I found may have been it. I was under the impression that if I grounded the wire it would set off the horn. Am I wrong? I've only attempted to ground the wires I thought were suspect. I did not attempt to send power through them. Admittedly connecting the blu/red wire with the black at the relay was a bit unsmart... without knowing what thing really were .However all it did was set the horn off..

Would a busted relay prevent the horn from sounding off at the light grn/blu wire once grounded? I've tried replacing the relay but it still didn't do anything.

Groounding the wire should make the horn sound. Of coarse, only a working relay will work...

Just to be sure.. This is the only light GREEN/ blu wire I found. The image isn't the clearest.. But it comes out of steering column harness. It's next to a blue and gray plug.. When I ground it.. It does absolutely nothing..

My buttons at the steering wheel dont do anything.. So I replaced my horn relay.. Still nothing happened.. Not when I pressed the horn buttons or grounded the wire..

I was told that "maybe the buttons inside of the horn are not grounding".. Which is very much possible.. but that shouldn't effect the horn when I ground it at that wire..

Any suggestions??

Check the horn fuse, oh bloody amateurs testing without safety precautions.
Next week all the questions will be on how to remove DTC lights!

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

That fuse is fine. As stated in the first post. The horn will sound. Just not via the steering wheel. And grounding it is not working either.

Just a thought. 
The horn button at the steering column isn't working and you are trying to use the same wire/circuit to sound the horn with the aftermarket R/S or alarm.....

You also know the horn works if you trigger it at the relay.

While its possible that the steering wheel horn button is bad, its also possible that the wiring from the horn button to the relay is bad ( the same wiring you are trying to use for the R/S or alarm system ). 

While you could go directly to the horn relay for your R/S or alarm system, most states car inspection checks the operation of the horn so it probably needs to be fixed.  My guess is after its fixed the Light GREEN/ Blue wire at the steering column harness will work fine for your R/S or alarm system.

A Digital Multi Meter could be used to test the Light GreenBlue horn wire to see if the horn buttons actually cause the needed ground signal.  The DMM could also be used to trace the wire back to the relay.
