valet 562t remote start dilemma

Hello all,

I've wired up this system to a 1993 Chevy Astro.

Problem : starter engages when told from remote. van wont stay running.

This van is cranking for about 2 seconds which is enough time under normal circumstances.

 I've got 2 "ignition" wires from the van. and tried both on the pink wire from remote system. One is 12v key on and start, the other is 12v key on only.

 The manual is not very clear on a few things.

Tach wire was hooked directly to white wire from distributor.

Pink to ignition wire that stays live on start, white wire, have you tested it? Have you programmed tach?
