Did my first 2011 Regal the other day.

Ignition wire type like GMC Terrain. 1.3k resistor incorporation.

Lock, horn, brake and power all preety easy to get at behind fuse panel, behind driver kick panel storage compartment. Little tight to get at but not bad.

Tach at coil

Pos lights at back of lights housings. Small black wire going right into plug. Need to run an additional wire to other side for front and rear park lights. Left side is not connected to right side.

Need a Key (or key chip) insertion module (or wrap).

Could not find a trunk release wire. No trunk release button button except in key fob and handle of trunk.

Is the the same as the Vauxhall/Opel Insignia and latest Saab 9/3?

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

topinstaller,

I could not find a pink wire? Actually I could not find a pink wire in any of the BCM plugs?

What color BCM plug is the trunk wire in?

I tried all wires in the "pink plug" nothing there.

When you wired the trunk release at BCM, did you use relay to power it? I understand that normally, it requires a relay to accommodate high current draw. What if the wiring is done at BCM? Is it still the same?

Thanks,
