Does anybody know where i can buy just the Door lock actulator Rods themselves and is it possible to use a 5 wire actulator as a 2 wire actulator.  I messed up my actualtor install and i found a diagram of how ford has it mounted oem so i want new rods to i can bend them and mount how hey have it.  and the install shop i went to said he could use my 5 wire actulators as 2 wire. Is this possible.  i have a commando 5 wire central locking system if that helps.

Go to your local bike shop and ask for some  DT Spokes, they are the same thing but longer.

5-wire actuators have three wires to an internal switch to use in triggering the system - the other two wires go only to the motor. If you don't want to use the switch, leave those three disconnected.

along with your local bike shop like Jeff suggested, you could also probably try a local alarm/stereo shop. I'm sure they'll have some laying around for a $1.00.
