No, it is a data module where you need the key to program it but it does not live in a coffin/module. You give the key back to the customer. check out the guide for it at xpresskits.com It will take care of doorlocks, factory alarm control, rap shutdown, trunk release, and key bypass

the DLPK will save your life on that truck you will need to program it though
