The other night i was driving around the block (just testing the car after working on my alignment) and right b4 i pulled up at the house the blackjax feature engaged. i had already stopped the car but it was stil within the 20 seconds before the alarm would go off. I was trying to put the pass code in but I guess i was doing it in reverse, thus putting in the wrong password. When i realized what i was doing (after the alarm already started going off and i removed the key) i entered the passcode correctly and the alarm went off. But this is where the problem started. I attempted to start my car a few minutes later (since it cut off in the middle of the driveway all slanted lol) I can enable and disable the alarm, i can put it in valet but either way i can NOT get it into valet. The place i got it installed would look at it but thats a 30 mile tow. i get power but the motor wont turn over or even crank. i can turn it to the second click but when i turn it to start it just sits there. ANy suggestions that i could maybe get it started? If there is an installer on here that could help me but would need some proof it is mine i would take a photo of my lisence and the title to the car and all. The store wont even try to troubleshoot with me. Thanks for any help in advanced

Get to the wiring at the ignition switch. There should be 2 different wires that were cut. Each of the cut wires were extended and run to the alarm brain or outboard relays. Reconnect the wires.
Depending on the model of your alarm, there may be only one wire that was cut. Some clifford alarms had starter and ignition kill.

Ignition on that car is BLACK / YELLOW, starter BLACK/ white you have to rejoin both, then re-enable valet to kill that bloody nuisance blackjax. I think you may not be getting an ignition feed to the unit, that explains why you can't get into valet mode.
------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

ok so ill try that now. ill rejoin them put the car in valet and see what happens. report back soon
edit
so i tried and it exactly the same, mind u, i was always able to put the car into valet that wasnt the problem. its just not starting. im not even getting the 2nd tone when i turn it to the 2nd click in my car that i used to hear. ive been told that the brain could be stuck in safe mode or something like that and id have to get it reset in order for the car to start again?
