i am looking at bringing in some Fortin modules this season... anyone know if the XKloader II will work to flash them? (since it works for the re-badged Fortin stuff...PKALL, DLPK, etc)

i am hoping not to have to buy a 3rd bootloader... 1 for Idata, 1 for Xpresskit & 1 for Fortin

Tried hooking up a Fortin CAN-SL2 to a XKLoader2 and running VIP / Optimax.  Just says "Unit not connected".  (Works fine with PKALL connected.)

Downloaded the Fortin Flash Link Updater program.  With the XKLoader cable still attached, the program opens but just shows same message, "Unit not connected".

I believe you must have their USB Flash Link Updater module.  On the brighter side, they don't seem to change their firmware as often as iDatalink does.     And Tedmond swears by their stuff.   posted_image
