I just purchased this car and it has the 591xv alarm with Remote start.  When we pulled the dash apart there were 2 30amp fuses missing on the harness.  After replacing, the alarm seems to partially work.  I searched these forums and couldn't find anything so posting.  Here are the issues:

-  Remote start doesn't work.  Valet Key was in module under dash but when you try to start w/ remote, it won't start.  Everything lights up like it's going to start but nothing.  When you have a key in the ignition (not turned) it will start right up.

- When it does start, it also UNLOCKS the doors.  On my other car, the doors will stay locked while it's running until I click to open.  Not sure why it keeps unlocking doors when trying to start

- Doors lock/unlock as epxected.  Trunk option button also works

Does anyone have any insight on where to start?  We've been looking through wires and don't see anything undone.  I bought car from a dealer so I can't find out if the alarm ever worked or why they would have pulled the fuses out.

Thanks

The immobiliser by-pass containing the key should be a DEI 556U wired as per European instructions, i.e. no antenna loop around the ignition switch barrel. Also the car's purple accessory wire should be wired as "second ignition" not accessory.
When properly installed the doors will stay locked, methinks wired or programmed incorrectly, PM me with your email address and I'll send you the installation sheet for the alarm and the 556 module.

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
