Im trying to install a remote starter in my 05 TB EXT.i have some experience and knowlege in automotive electronics so i feel comfortable doing this.

 here is what i have
aftermarket T-Harness, Audiovox APS-685, and an OMEGA DB-GMDL-BP. i have the T-Harness wired up, but im confused as to the OMEGA to the RS.

is the brake switch negative switched

where does the negative ground output when running(brown on the OMEGA) attach to on the RS. and the AUX outputs on the RS?

do i need a relay for the ACC2 or can i tap into the t-harness(looking at some pics it seems there is an ACC2 in the t harness)

ive read all the install guides both on trailvoy.com and on the12volt but im sill alittle stumped

thanks

There are two WHITE wires attached to the larger module that is attached to the lower plastic shroud on this vehicle. Meter both and one is the brake wire.

This will attach to the STATUS output wire on the RS.

extra devices with the AUX channel.

The AUX output is only used if you want to control windows, sunroof or any

You actually need a relay for the 2nd IGN.

ok im looking at the install manual and cannot find the STATUS wire to the RS...i am thinking its the yellow/black from the 12 wire harness or is it the dark blue/black trace wire labled 'external trigger input' on the 2 pin input/output harness

with the relay...am i running off the t harness ACC or the IGN wire?

thanks again

in regards to the relay...

i am assuming i run the relay from IGN2 to the IGN3 output of the RS (light blue wire) right?

use the green wire as ignition 2 it's seting defaults to that and the light bluewire (ignition 3) is your ground when running source

green wire?  ...  i am using the gm t9 harness instead of splicing into my stock. is it in the t harness? if so i will have to match it up

so the light blue from the RS unit is the ground while running? which is going to go to the brown neg ground output when running on the bypass right? then what about the yellow/black coming from the RS unit (states TO CONTROLLING ALARMS IGN INPUT)

what about the relay, where is that going originally i was using it on the light blue ign 3, with the yellow/black from the RS going to the brown of the bypass.
