My viper 5701 remote control wont respond.when i push the lock button i hear my truck lock but get no confirmation from my remote. no green light either. then about 3 seconds later the function light comes on and the viper light blinks while giving a noise like its out of range. Please someone help.

pull the 15 amp fuse on the secondary harness of the 5701... count to 10 and put it back in... this should "fix" the problem......

couldnt find the fuse but i disconnected from battery waited a minute then connected back. Working fine now. Thnx for the advice
