I wired up these two illuminacent Viper security symbols and had my Yukon locked with the security on for two days of lighting these two 620V illuminated and I tried to start my Yukon this morning and the battery was completely dead. If you plan to get these lights caution beware because they will drain your battery. I didnt think nothing of it because they draw very little current but I had to learn the hardway by recieving a dead battery. I just wanted to warn any potential buyers.

Look for something else causing your problem, I've never known them to draw much.

I have one of them connected in my work truck, Ford E150, and it has sat 3-4 days and even a week while I was on vacation and my battery was just fine.  My daughter has onde in her Ford Focus and I have another in my Taurus with no problems.

I had two of them wired up in my yukon Denali would that make a difference? We had them wired to a 12v constant and the other tied to the orange wire from the Viper 590,1Do these connections sound right?

Also the wire we used is very thin, its like telephone gauge wire, would this make a deiiference? What type of wire is recomended?

You wired them correctly and no because of the low current draw it wouldn't make much difference.
