lock/unlock the driver’s or passenger’s d

I installed an alarm/keyless entry on a 2010 colorado. I installed the actuators in the doors and it came out great. The problem is when I Lock/unlock the driver's or passenger's door and the other door won't follow. The actuators are only two wire. Is it supposed to do this? I installed on in my 06 colorad a few years back and it works on that one. I don't remember if those actuators were two wire or not.
They work fine with the key fob and when the ignition is turned on/off.

any ideas would be appreciated.

In some cases, there are interference among the wiring system that confuses everything. Better yet scan the anti theft module when trouble shooting. Have you had haynes repair manual or any DIY manual? Im thinking that it might be the door sensor or the actuator that is shorted, or such a sense. This is too risky. Have someone knowledgeable look over it personally. Good Luck!

i would think the "master" actuator would have to have more than 2 wires in order to speak to the pass side..... been a long time since i've installed an aftermarket kit... but i thought the drivers door usually had about 4 or 5 wires... passenger side 2......

is this only using the key in the door or using the transmitter?

To unlock from both front doors you will need 2 x 5 wire (or master) actuators and a dedicated lock relay as well as your keyless entry.
In practice 2 x masters tend to interfere with each other because of pulling on the internal control microswitches, I only do one in the driver's door.

Where did this come from?

Anyway to the OP, to make life easy just install to momentary switches on the trigger wire of the relays, it will make your life alot easier than rewiring with the five wire actuators and it's alot cooler to.

by adding momentary switches on the trigger wire of the relays that will make it central lock , meaning when I Lock/unlock the driver's or passenger's door and the other door will follow?  Do you have any links to info on this.

Set your keyless entry to give neg lock and unlock outputs, use a dedicated i.e. timer relay for the locks, use a 5 wire for the driver's door i.e. connected to the relay, 1 wire to ground, other 2 to the lock/unlock wires going to the relay, also a SPCO switch, momentary operation centre off, grounded and connected again to those lock and unlock wires will give keyless entry from your remote, control from the driver's door and internal control.
