with the adsusb adapter you should be able to upgrade the brain from idatalinks website with weblink.

do you have a blade module in it?

if not you need a valet switch and the y cable from the op500

what is the valet switch? is that the switch from the cm6000 unit or the switch from op500?

if the valet switch from the cm6000 your talking about, how can i update the firmware of the cm6000?

thanks

you should be able to program the compustr with out updating if   you want to update it connect theantenna wire from the compustar to the uart(RS232) port and the other end to the weblink updater then goto idattalink.com and "Flash your module" A quick question, what option are you tring to program?
