I need some help, is there a site where i can go to find out how to remove the dash on cars to install radios, i know how to do it, but i gotten some cars where i dont even know where to start. any help would be appreciated, thanks all and keep on 12 voltin'. ------------- rocker

Yes. It is kind of a back door way but...
Go to Metra Electronics at : https://www.metraonline.com/ Select "Find a Metra Kits for your vehicle". Enter in the vehicle. Pick a kit for radio install. Download the install guide and there will be a section on removal. ------------- Soldering is fun!

If you post specifics we can often help, basicly it's a case of prying and unscrewing although many radios come out without dash removal, that's becoming more and more the case.
Kreg's idea is very good, also look at Dashmount for ideas.

That takes part of the fun out of installing doesn't it, lol, yea sometimes you're scared to pry a panel cuz your're shaking in your draws that something might go wrong, but when that panel pops off, ahhhhhhh, it's sweet victory accomplished by moi. LOL, i love it.
Just so this doesn't get taken out of context, i'm reffering to most vehicles, there are the few exceptions where it would be nice to have a guideline as to what to remove from where.

Yeah effing Peugeot 308, me minus $1100 and as t&t knows, I hated them before!

Where do yours came from Darren, South America? It doesn't matter they're still a POS wherever they are made, just designed badly with lousy components and wiring, they want to take a Honda or Toyota apart and see how a vehicle is built properly.
