How important is this wire? No specific vehicle. Just want to know you guy's experience with keysense.

On certain vehicles such as various Toyota/Lexus, this wire must "think" the key is in the ignition, to disable the factory alarm during remote start.

Howie is right if u dont connect this wire the factory alarm goes off when ever u remote start the car

Beyond Toyota products tho, i can't think of any must have it for any reason. There were some issues with certain year Ford Escapes that needed the keybox turned off when the key was inserted in the ignition, and these you used the keysense to do this with but beyond that there isn't any that do...
