I have a Viper 5002, and I have a problem with the responder, is short distance, about 100 meters from the car(in open area).
What can I do to increase the distance from the responder to car...at least 400 meters or more?
I saw the new models have now includes the XHF Super 2 Way Dipole Antenna with about a 1/4 mile range.
I can adapt myself to the responder that XHF Super 2 Way Dipole Antenna if I can get find?

Where do you have the antenna located?

Is located under the rearview mirror, antenna is attached to the windshield.

300ft isn't bad. make sure to lengthen the antenna cable to it's max, avoid leaving loops, just a thought. I normally get about that same distance in an area with obstacles and alot of other frequencies around.

Barely reach 100 meters in open field without obstacles.
That's why I make this topic ... can anyone know what I can do at least to double this distance.
