Prior to Installing the viper 5901 in a 2009 Ford Taurus, which has the external (factory) key code pad located on the outside of the vehicle, I have a question.

Scenerio:  The vehicle is park and has been locked with the Viper key fob (arming the alarm).  I need to get something out of my vehicle and dont have the key fob on me so I instead punch in my code on the factory key pad opening the door....alarm goes crazy.

Is there a disarm input wire on the DEI viper alarm to prevent this from happening?

Thanks.

No

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
