I just recently installed an apexi turbo timer to my 89 rx7. the car has an autopage rf225a alarm system. I didn't install the alarm it came with the car. when i installed the turbo timer i tapped into the ground wire and o2 sensor wire directly at the ecu. I didn't have the wire harness for the power wires so i tapped directly into the constant 12v, switch 1(labeled acc) and switch 2(labeled ign1) right at the ignition. now i cant arm my alarm if the turbo timer is counting down.as soon as the car shuts off i can arm it. My question is how can i arm the alarm system with the car still on and the turbo timer counting down.

 thanks

You will need 1 standard 5 pin automotive (Bosch type) relay and 1 X 1N4004 diode.
Ignition output from t/timer to 86.
Join the diode from 86 to 87a with the band to 86.
Ign wire, key side also to 87a
 12V+ Constant,, fused at 30amps to 87
Ignition side of cut wire to 30.
 Ground to 85.

ok i think i got it. the only issue im having is which ignition wire your talking about. the turbo timer and the ignition harness have 2 one gets power when the key is switched once and the other gets power when the key is switched a second time. so acc and on positions.

On position, also take turbo timer from there as well, NOT acc.
