I'm doing a 09 GMC Sierra Denali.

I used a 1701g, it works fine a couple time then starts spazing out and throwing codes.
"service air bag" service tire monitor", ect.

Is the 1701G compatible with the 09's? Maybe I just got a bad one.
I see the XK09 says OEM starter integration, but theirs nothing in the manual about it. Can the XK09 control the oem starter system? or stick with the 1701g and try another.

Did you use a relay and add resistors to the programmed 2nd start/acc??

The 1701G is only 100% compatible up to 2008 GM vehicles. There is no current replacement that will activate factory remote start on these vehicles. The XK09 will activate it in a standalone installation, that is only when used as a "range extender" with the XL202. It's not possible to activate factory remote start with the XK09 through an aftermarket alarm.
