Installing a python RS in a 2006 colorado using a xk06 for the bypass. Everything seems pretty simple but in the xk06 manual it says I should find 2 plugs on the backside of the ignition of which I only have one 6pin coming off the back of the key cylinder.

None of the wire colors match up with the xk06 diagram all the wires coming off the cylinder are white with a stripe.

Any help out there to help me get this xk06 up and running? Specifically which wires go to what on the xk06.

Thanks,

Here is the spot that you need to hook up all your bypass wires and ignition wires

Just did an '05 Colorado.  Should be the same.

You can get at all the wires under the dash, not in the steering column.  There is a plastic sheathed harness coming from the column going to a blue connector to the left of the column under the dash.  Open it up and you will find all the wires you need, should be 5 wires inside.  They are all thin gauge as follows:

WHITE/ Black    +12v constant  -  Don't use for remote starter power  ( might be OK for the XK06 alone )  -  go to battery
WHITE/ Green    Ignition1
WHITE/ Red       Accessory1
WHITE/ Blue      Passlock2 Data   ( could be White )
WHITE/ Yellow   Passlock2 Power

There is no Starter wire.

At the far right side of that same connector, in the upper corner, all by itself is the Green (-) Horn wire.

I used the iDatalink ADS DL bypass because the truck had the factory alarm.  It did the locks and alarm thru data.
