07 F-150 wont start...

My 2007 F-150 went into some sort of lock-up mode this morning after issues with auto-starting. I used my auto-starter to start the truck, then i put the key into the ignition and turned it to the "on" position, then i turned the key back to remove it and the truck kept running. Now the truck wont start with the autostart or the key in the ignition, it just keeps rolling and rolling.

Ive turned off the auto-starter under the dash, I've disconnected the battery for over an hour and still it wont start...

The auto-start is a "Mars" model made by Omega

ANYONE WITH ANY ADVICE???

What type of bypass did you use?  Are there any dash security type lights on?

Im not sure, the auto-starter was installed before i Bought the  truck, no security lights that i can see are on...

The was running when i turned the key back and removed it, the truck kept running, i re-inserted the key to turn off the engine, the truck wouldnt start after that...

How did you turn off the Omega Mars remote start unit?  Did you pull the fuses?

Check under the dash for a bypass module.  It might be powered independently from the remote start and still on.

I didnt pull any fuses, it only rolls the motor for so long and shuts off. If there is a bi-pass modual what should I do with it.?

I would try pulling the fuses going to the Omega Mars unit first.  Also look for the bypass module.  Typically it is another slightly smaller unit that has wires going to the remote starter and the ignition switch area.

I am not familiar with the Omeaga units and their wiring or capabilities.  The are a lot of different bypass modules for your truck, even a "key wrap" is possible.

They problem could even be something like a fuel pump power cut relay controlled when the remote starter is locked  that has gone bad / become disconnected.

Im thinking it has something to do with the fuel pump or fuel delivery, cuz the truck rolls fine, just wont fire up...

But what I cant figure out is why this happened all of a sudden...is it possible I put my truck into some sort of "safe mode" or anti-theft mode?

Or do these kid of modes even exist?

I took it to my garage, they say it needs a "fuel pump control modual", I hope they're right, as it will cost me around $450...

I still think the truck is in some sort of security mode tho...

sounds like the pats system. The keys have a chip in them and the vehicle isn't seeing them. when you turn the key to the on position is there a little security light that flashes constantly. i cant remember if it is a little light on the dash by the windshield or on the instrument cluster. Anyways if it is blinking then the keys either lost programming and the bypass on remote might be messing it up. You know the chip in the key is good when you turn it to the on position and that security light goes on solid for like 2 seconds then goes out.
