So I stumbled across the newer version of the viper smart start and it says it works with like 90% of RS/alarms that have ESP2. I have an old viper 791, will it work with the new version of the smart start? If so will I be able to control more than just lock/unlock, start and trunk pop? I ask because I have other things hooked up for chann. 4 and 5 outputs.

Yes it will work. No you cant control those extra channels, yet.
