Hello

Sorry if this is a ridiculous question.  My girlfriend has a 2010 Subaru Legacy with a Viper 5701 installed.  The other day the moon roof was accidently left in the vent position during a rain storm.  Viper offers a modual that will roll up windows when the alarm is activated.  Has anyone ever tried to install this on a moon roof??  I was wondering if it would be possible to have the moon roof shut when the alarm is activated and prevent a "carpool" again.

Thanks for any help.

Dan

Yes use a529T window closer but it's relevant to the roof, i.e. it's switching, tilt or slide or both etc.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Hello Dan,

your gf has the viper 5701 installed.  Did you install it?  if so, how did you get the remote start to work.  I have not found a transponder for it.

Also, do you have wiring diagram you may have used.

thx

tbob
