Could you list what wires from the remote start you have connected to what wires on the f150.

I have found that the most accurate install guides are from iDatalink.  Here is a link to their WEB site :  https://www.idatalink.com/support/helpdesk

Look up your vehicle and open the install guide for the ADS TB.

Here is their info:

                         Pin         TX               Pin           RX
F-150 99-02    4   WHITE/ LtGreen     3       Gray/Orange A

That is probably true.  Here is a note from the iDatalink ADS TB FM install guide.  Your Truck has a Type A connector.

IMMOBILIZER CONNECTOR TYPE:
Connectors B, D, E, F and G located at immobilizer near key barrel
Connectors A and C are found 8 inches lower on PATS harness.

i connected the wires and tried to program it and still no luck either im missing a step in the programming instructions or i have something not getting signal.

Does anybody know what exactly wires and settings need to be connected to have the remote start work on a viper 7900.

Thanks

Are you going W2W or D2D?  With D2D you should check the the jupers on the Viper are set to "external D2D module".

All connections should be soldered. The PKALL Pnk wire should be connected to the Viper H3/1 Pink wire.   Is the programming failing at a certain step?  Have you tried to program with the manaul transmission method of jumping the ignition wire at step 8?

Thanks

p.s. i have the alarm set to voltage instead of tach and  voltage setting to high.

I mis-read your Viper type.  You said 7900 and I saw 5701.  I'm not familiar with the 7900.  The 570x / 590x Vipers have two jumpers at the side of the brain that should be horizontal for "external D2D module".

im going to check each wire again when i have a chance most likely friday or saturday so i need to see if somebody can tell me wire by wire it should be connected to see if i have it wired correctly here is the instruction manuel to the alarm. I have no problems with anything else except for the remote start harness and the bypass which is a pkall.

My Truck is an automatic 2002 f150.It would truly help me if someone helped me out. Thanks

If it's telling you that the hood is open when you arm,  the toggle switch for the remote start is OFF.

Well if it had it before i assume there's a third relay somewhere in vehicle you could find the trigger wires for all three relays and off you go, if that's too hard well you could always five wire the unlock leg of the driver door.

Notes:
NOTE:  Some models of this vehicle are equipted with PATS (Passive Anti Theft System).   *1 Power this wire if vehicle is equiped with only rear anti-lock brakes. Vehicles with all wheel anti-lock brakes do not have this wire.  *2 Negative pulse, type 'B', on keyless entry models. Five wire, type 'C', on non-keyless models, mastered from the driver switch.  *3 May also be found at trailer connector next to diagnostic connector under dash.  *4 If equiped with autolamps.  *5 The BLACK / YELLOW catches the drivers door and the BLACK/ pink catches the passengers door. The wires are found in there respective door harnesses. On the Super Crew the rear door trigger is BLACK/ lt. blue low in the driver kick panel. Use all wires and diode isolate each. . Both wires may also be found at the GEM module located above the fuse box.  On models without a dome light delay use ORANGE / lt. green (-) at the light switch.  *6 Arms when locked with the door open.  To simulate, send a negative trigger to the lt. blue/white wire at the RAP module, located behind the light switch, while locking.    *7  Tach wire : on the 4.2L it is a dk.blue/lt.green at the coil pack on top of the motor.   Tach wire : On the 4.6L go to any of the 8 ignition coils and use the wire that is not RED / green.  Tach wire : on the 5.4L it is a lt.GREEN / WHITE at the coil on the passenger side of the motor between the fuel injectors.  *8 The GEM in this vehicle shuts down after the doors have been locked for a certain time period,
