Couple questions...Are the data wires for the ignition at a small white plug to the lower right of the steering column? And does the rx wire from the bypass go to rx on the truck data wires and vice versa...read something about you do rx to tx?

Second question...Trying to install remote start with bare minimum to get it going.  I have the ignition wires hooked up, good ground, hood pin working, tach wire to pink/white of pcm module, 12v constants hooked up, and my ground when running from bypass to remote starter...I did not hook up the arm rearm yet...is this why the remote start will crank but not start?  I dont have an alarm key remote or anything so thought this was an extra feature?

The plug is about 8 inches below the switch. RX, gray/orange, TX, WHITE/ green.

To test for bypass problems, place key in cylinder without turning it. If it remote starts the bypass is the problem...

Where are these wires? Underneath the lower black trim piece of the steering column? I do not see these color wires. According to the key override all instructions, it is a rectangular 4 wire plug. I found such a plug, but the wires are purple, red, brown, and yellow.

Here is a link from a different post with info for the data wires from idatalink. See if this can help you locate the wires.  They should be very thin/small gauge wires.       https://www.idatalink.com/support/helpdesk

Amazing, wires changing colour from one side of a plug to another.
Never seen that before or thought to look.
