Subject: compustar cm6000, want to add dei 508d

I installed a CM6000 (FT6000AS-Cont & RF-2WG5-900SH) system in my 2000 Chevy Tracker. Everything is working great, but I want to add a proximity sensor to it for added security. I know the CM6000 has a second sensor input, so I'm wondering if the DEI 508D will just plug in (Plug & play) or if I need to purchase a harness and splice the DEI 508D into it. All the searches that I've done tell people to splice into the shock sensor with diodes, but I would like to use the second sensor option.
Anyone done this to a CM6000? Would love to know what I need to order, so that once I get it, I can just install it.
THANKS!

There should be a green optional sensor plug on the back side of the CPU. You can use this for the prox sensor.

I suppose what I'm really asking is:
1. Will the DEI 508D molex plug into the CM6000 brain? IF not, what harness do I need to purchase
2. Whether I need a different harness to splice the 508D into the Compustar brain or not, do the wires on the 508D need to be 'moved' around or repinned for it to work with the CM6000?
Thanks!

Just cut off the end of the 508D and splice into the GREEN harness off the Compustar unit. The Compustar harness has the 4 pin harness with bare wire ends for universal installation.

thanks for the help! Unfortunately, my system didn't come with the green harness. If I can get a shock sensor harness, would that be able to plug into the aux sensor port?
