Hi , I have a factory remote start on this car . But somehow when you start the remote start it works fine but when you try to unlock the car the engine stop . Is there a way to bypass that stage .please help me . Thank you so much

That's normal operation for Toyota remote starters....I think it's stupid but that's the way they do it.

Is it factory-installed or dealer-installed?

If it's dealer-installed, you could try to figure out where/how they connected to the car's door-ajar circuitry, but even that won't help you, I don't think.

That's because I've noticed that even if you sit inside the car with the doors closed and hit the remote starter, as soon as you insert your key into the ignition to take over, it shuts down anyway.

Maybe you could isolate the door-ajar and keysense circuits, but even that wouldn't be guaranteed to work.
