I'm going to buy a XpressKit XK05 for my 2002 Nissan SER SpecV from .....com

How can I install the firmware for my Nissan? Do I also need to buy a cable and download the firmware from xpresskit.com. The one shown states"Toyota and Lexus" vehicles.

Most XK05 bypass modules come pre-loaded with PKT2 firmware for Toyota.  The correct firmware for your Nissan is PKN2 V3.0.  You would need the XKLoader or XKLoader2 cable ( $50 ) to flash the correct firmware on to the module.  It might be possible to find a dealer that would be willing to flash the PKN2 firmware for you prior to shipment.  Another option is to get the PKALL bypass,  It comes with the correct firmware already on it and is a reliable module.
