Long story short: I have a "97 Neon that I have another Crimestopper car alarm on that does not have power windows. I was going to add power windows to it, but never did. That is where these window control modules came from. I am going to be rebuilding it for racing SCCA (or maybe 1/4 mile) and don't want to add any more weight than I need to. In other words, I might be taking the alarm off of it.

Anyway...
I have a question about these window control modules. They are from Crimestopper and their part number is: CS-5401. They control 2 windows up (or down if wired to the down switch). I have a Crimestopper 2015FM and a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 2-door and it has reverse polarity windows. I want to control the windows up and down and this is what I was thinking of doing:

These are the wires and what they do.
Drivers side up=Lt.Blue
Drivers side down=White
Passenger side up=Brown white
Passenger side down=PURPLE / White

This is the window module.
CS-5401:
Green wire to drivers window motor up
Gray wire to drivers window up switch (calls for me to cut the window up wire)
Blue wire to passenger window up motor
Purple wire to passenger window up switch (calls for me to cut wire)
Yellow wire: Negative activation input (goes to Orange wire from CS-2015FM-the Orange wire was the starter kill)
Orange wire (from CS-5401) goes to Yellow wire on the CS-2015FM for starter kill. This wire takes the place of the Orange wire above.

Now, since it is reverse polarity, I (in theory) could leave the wires the way they are and just connect the Green wire of the CS-5401 to the Lt. Blue wire of the window up switch with a resistor and the same with the Blue wire (CS-5401) to the BROWN / White wire (window switch).

Also, I have another module that I could wire up for window down control by wiring the Green wire (CS-5401) to the White (window switch) and the Blue wire (CS-5401) to the PURPLE / White (window switch) with resistors. The resistors would be wired up with the cathode side toward the window switch and the anode side toward the CS-5401 allowing power FROM the CS-5401 but not TO the CS-5401. Then I could control the windows down from the CS-2015FM from the onboard Aux. #2 (Blue/Black wire) connected to the Yellow wire of the CS-5401 (negative activation input).
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Ok...I got the windows to work perfectly up and down. Up with arm and down with the trunk release button. I just have to hold it in till the windows are all the way down. So, that leaves the trunk release option still open for something else...wonder what I can have that do??? Now I just need a little help with the door locks. I will post that in another message.
