Hey guys.

Is it impossible to have an proximity sensor activated with a dog in the back of the car, or is it possible to adjust it so it will only detect in the front of the car ?

Hell of a bother to set that up, what if the dog moves to the front?
Just turn it off.

It´s a stationcar, and it´s a Golden Retriever, it never comes past the rear seats :)

This thread is a waste, read your owner's manual the section after arming where it mentions turning off internal sensors via your remote or simply place a switch on the sensor's black cable.

And a dog staying in the back? My German Shepherds always thought it their divine right to either stand up and be a tank commander through the sun roof or take my seat when I was out of the car.
Just disable it through the remote as per the owners manual.
You are running around in circles looking for an answer which will please you rather than applying the facts, this is why I stopped answering your last thread.

If you have a large dog in the car do you need to even arm the alarm???? :)

Yes and we've been here before haven't we Kevin, I suppose it makes a change from telling Viper installers to programme it away from manual mode.
