Hey, I recently installed an avital 4103 in my 1992 Chevrolet K1500 w/ a TBI 350. This system was working great for a couple of weeks. I more recently installed a new stereo and idk if the battery being unplugged messed with it or what, but now it will start, run for a few seconds, die, sit there for a few seconds and start right back up. The starter also runs slightly longer than it should. After a few days it started just grinding the hell out of the starter/flywheel every time it did that. I have tried to relearn the virtual tach but that does not work. I really need to get this fixed with this cold weather. I'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair and it really makes it a pain to go anywhere when I have to go get in my pickup and let it thaw. What do you guys suggest. Thanks

You have to program tach mode first than relearn the tach signal. It is a tach issue you have there.

start the vehicle by hand and hold the programming button for a few seconds. then let go and your parking lights should flash. tach is now learned. if it was actually hooked up properly.......
