I wan't to buy Viper Vss3000 system for my son and install it for him for christmas. My biggest concern is that the VSS3000 doesn't come with any remotes. If something were to happen to his phone I would still like him to be able to start his vehicle with a remote. Can a remote be purchased seperately and programmed or is this not possible?

This is going into a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I will probably use a DBALL Bypass.

Thanks

Yes you can program one of the 4 button Avital remotes to it.

Dont know about the DBALL.  I'd use a PKUMUX.
