alrite, did an alarm on a 2003 dodge dakota quad cab. the door triggers is where im having a problem. after you close the door, the trigger is reading what its supposed to. after about 30 seconds, it turns into a ground. which, in turn, sets off the alarm, thinking that the door has been opened. has anyone run into these problems???

Did you diode isolate the two door triggers or did you grab the dome light wire ? My information tells me that you have to grab the two door triggers separately and then diode isolate the doors from each other.

Had the same problem with my 02 Dakota, did the diode isolation thing and still had the problem then I wired it according to the Winstar diagram posted on this site using a relay and the problem was solved

 87 to alarm negative output
 85 constant 12 V + fused
86 to door trigger wires diode isolated
