can anyone help me with the wiring installation for the remote starting part?

I am not sure which wires from the viper 5501 go to the truck starting wirer?

I do have both diagrams, but I'm not sure which wired from the Viper go to which wires on the truck?

Like which wires on the truck go to which wires on the remove start?

I'd really appriciate any help you can give me

thanks

I am going to guess the 5501 H3 Harness is the same as a 5301. And from the vehicle wiring guide for you truck should go as

12 volt constant on truck ...RED... to viper H3/2 RED / White, H3/5 Red, H3/8  RED / Black

Starter on truck...Purple or Yellow.. to viper H3/4  Purple

Ignition 1 on truck...Pink.. to viper H3/1  Pink

Ignition 2 on truck.. Pink/White  or  White.. to  H3/6  Pink/White

Accessory on truck...Orange.. to viper H3/3  Orange.

You need to test the truck wires with a DMM to verify that the wires are the correct ones that need to be connected to the Viper

Yes it looks like they are the same wires as the 5301

is there any other wires I need to hook up for the remote starter?

does the controler need any special programming in order to work?

except train the remotes?

I really appriciate your help

thanks

Is your truck Automatic or manual?  Power Locks or not?  Two Door or four Door?  Factory Alarm or not?

Link to Bulldog website for wirig diagram guide:  https://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp

The 12 volt.com also has a vehicle wiring section.   The wiring diagrams can vary from site to site so compare them, then use a DMM to test and verify what excatly you have in your truck.

H1/2 to 12 volts constant...H1/3 to horn...H1/5 to chassis ground...MAYBE H1/6 or H1/8  door trigger...H1/9 with relay for domelight...H1/11 for parking light output.

Remote Start Input 5-Pin...1 to ground..2 to tach wire..3 to brake pos wire...4 to Hood Pin...

Door Lock Harness 3- pin....for power locks if needed, (type C lock on 2 door  and type A locks on 4 door)

TEST AND VERIFY ALL WIRES WITH A DMM.   Wiring guides are not exact.
