Hi,
I'm new to the forum here...I read some posts on remote starter install and really appreciate the response from experienced people..Thanks a lot.
I'm trying to install prostart CT 3310 from CT on 1998 corolla LE with power lock...I need inputs from you guys. It has 3 wiring harnesses (6 pin, 5 pin and 12 pins)...out of all these...would like to know which one to use and which one not.
6 pin Harness
Ignition - Yellow
12V battery - Red
Accessories(Heater blower motor) -Orange
Starter - Purple
5th Relay - Green
12V +(battery)-Red
5 pin Harness
Ground(-) - Black
Tach(AC)-Purple
Hood switch (-) -Grey
Brake switch(+) - Orange
Parking Light (+) - Yellow
12 pin Harness
Aux 3 output (-)(trunk) - Blue
Lock(-) - Brown
Unlock(-) - Green
Rearm (-) - WHITE/ Brown
Disarm (-) - WHITE/ Green
Aux 1 output (-) - Blue/White
Starter kill output (-) - WHITE/ Orange
Negative parking light (-) - Orange
External Trigger input (-) - Purple
GROUND out when running(-) - White
N/A - Grey
Glow plug input(+) - Yellow

I don't have any security system with car...I just need to wire for remote start and keyless entry.
I read on the forum Parking light -ve wire for corolla (light GREEN/ black) at the steering column harness but don't know how to access the harness.

Appreciate all help from you.

use all from 6pin, 5 pin, and you can hook up lock, unlock, ground when running to a relay for anti grind.

get a tech sheet and this car should be easy to do.

Forgot to attach instruction to WHITE/ orange (starter kill output (-) ) this relay has 2 purposes, it will act as an anti-grind once the car is remote-started and starter-kill once the doors are locked thru the remote. If you do not like this feature (starter-kill ) then you can replace it with the anti-grind. Use the white wire instead of the WHITE/ orange on the relay on pin 85, pin 86 still goes to ignition wire. Cut the starter wire in the vehicle and connected as shown. See the diagram in the rectangle that you posted.
