Installed alarm/auto start on a 2010 2 door f150 and everything works fine except the door trigger.I used the gray/violet(+)at the sjb in passenger kick panel. This wire gives false trigger and sets the alarm off.I tried to switch to individual negative triggers but these wires are (n.c)and do not trigger the alarm when the doors are opened. It needs diodes and a resistor setup which i need more info on.driver door-GREEN/ violet,pass-white.
Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks

Use a bypass that will give you door monitoring.... otherwise get yer diodes and resisters out!

Hi KarTuneMan,

i have always done newer the F-150's with diodes on all the individual negative door triggers (2 & 4 door). I have not yet seen a bypass for a Ford that does convenience features like the door triggers/status. If you have seen or used one, can you provide the info? Thanks!

DEI DTIMazda, also 5902s can be programmed for open circuit door triggers.

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I use idatalink all the time, and Fortin on occasion. Neither one actually provides a door status output for the F-150's. I know their modules can do it on other vehicles, just not this one. The DTIMazda still requires you to find all of the door triggers, correct? Any other suggestions is appreciated.
