I have an au-93 in a 98 monte carlo hooked up to a 350 viper alarm. when i arm the drivers window rolls up all the way but the passangers window moves up an inch or so then stops. i spliced between switch and motor . the au-93 is an older model with no adjustments for increasing or decreasing the power to the motor.

could anyone help ? thank you.

first post hope i did it right.

Try a thicker power lead directly to the battery fused at the battery, also a thicker ground return pref to a really good ground, that is measure the resistance between batt neg and your grounding point, should be 1 ohm or less.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

That unit rolls one window at a time so it really doesn't require a large power source and since it's doing the driver window i think the power and ground's ok, the unit will stop if the windows are to stiff.

I tested my power sources . And all tested good . Next I oiled the window tracks ,manually ran the window a few times ,than I tested the au-93 ,and yes the window works now .  Thank you guys. I thank you for your time. posted_image
