I currently have a viper 5900 and would like to upgrade to the 5901 unit. My question is will I need to rewire anything or are the wire connectors the same on both units? What all will need to be upgraded along with the brain?

new remotes, antenna, and brain.

the wiring is somewhat similar. but all harnesses are differant shaped/sizes. a full wire trace will need to be done.
