Hello,

Getting ready to install a DNX9960 into my 2006 F150.  I had one installed previously that was stolen.  Anyway, the shop that installed it previously had put the GPS antenna on the dash on the passenger side in the corner.  It has always bugged me, but I never messed with it.  This time I would like to change the placement of the antenna if possible.  I am wondering if the antenna can be stuck to the top of the head-unit itself and pushed into the dash without much effect on signal? The area directly above radio compartment is a plastic tray.  Any help and/or opinions are appreciated!

No problems, if it worked on the dash, it will work under provided there's only plastic above.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
