For a one button remote start. Which one do you prefer?
Audiovox Prestige APS901N or the Avital 4113?

For A Keyless/ Start?
Audiovox Prestige APS57N
or Avital 4103

The Avital 4113 & the 4103 are the same unit (Brain) with different remotes.    The Avital supports horn output duting lock/unlock/panic, as well as a defrost output, a ground while armed output for starter kill/anti-grind, and an external start input.

The Audiovox units are solid reliable remote starts, with a few less features as outlined above, and they are different units.

The advertised range is comparable on all these, at about 1000 ft (1200 ft on the APS901).

Given the features, I prefer the Avital 4113/4103 of the choices listed.

audiovox units are nice, but can be a pain to program.

i have used dei products, they are solid as well, but i prefer the compustar line. Remember this is just my opinion and every installer prefers one over another.

the compustar 1BAM-900SH is also a good option.

Another one for the compustar. I have installed many different models of RS and compustar has been one unit that has been bulletproof.

I will vote audiovox or code alarm. The code are easier to program but you will get used to the audiovox once you do a few. The first one or 2 will be a pita. I use Code Alarm for all my rs/security and it is bullet proof. the modules are small and feature packed and priced very competitive. I was going to use Avital but the issue I had was they are in EVERY shop in my area including best buy. The last thing I need is price shopping best buy customers. The crazy thing is I am always cheaper then bby but people seem to thin they are always the cheapest.
