Can you hook up a tach connection at one of the two instrument cluster connections on this vehicle?  If so, do you know the wire color.  I hate to make a connection under the hood in such a salty environment.

If there is a grey/white wire at the cluster, test it with a meter.

There was a gray and a gray and white, one turned out to be a turn signal and i forgot what the other was.  I got out a chilton manual wiring diagram and seen that the tach at dash is probably a data wire.  I just connected down at the coil anyway.
