I am about to install a python 4203P with an xpresskit XK09 (Chrysler 2.03 firmware) into a 2006 dodge grand caravan. I have been looking at Install Type 5 within XK09-CHRYSLER_EN_IG_CP20101116.pdf (install manual for Chrysler 2.03 from xpresskit.com) and I have been looking at Install Type 3 within XK09-CHRYSLER-Standalone_EN_IG_CP20101116.pdf (install manual for Standalone Remote Start Chrysler 2.03 from xpresskit.com)
What i don't understand is that the diagram (for non-standalone) ties (+) Ignition output from the remote start unit to Sentry Key (+) ignition, yet the standalone install manual does not. Does anybody know if the remote start ignition output needs to be tied to Sentry Key (+) ignition when using XK09 with D2D connection?
Thanks
Greg

Sorry i have a typo in my original post, within "Install Type 3 within XK09-CHRYSLER-Standalone_EN_IG_CP20101116.pdf (install manual for Standalone Remote Start Chrysler 2.03 from xpresskit.com)" it should be install type 4.
