I thought the pk-all was the same as a key-override all?

Anybody use EVO-CAN yet. Can you open the door with factory key fob?

the can module is essentially usless on toyota and lexus except on certain newer push starts

they dont do much except for transponder i would use a keyoverride all its cheaper and does the same

check out the install guides on fortins website

Use the Idatalink module and it will give you tach, brake, etc. plus allow the factory remotes to still work...

Can you tell me which module? I was looking at the instruction and it said that factory key fob can't open the door after remote started. Thanks.

idatalink solo series (orange box) will do the trick.

For a IS? I don't think so. You'll need to go in the door for locks. There is no way for the factory remote to stay functional on the IS or GS.

How about evo-all? Anybody use this on Lexus? If so, is it possible to use the factory key fob to unlock the doors?

haven't seen any toyota that i can recall that has factory fob control with vehicle running. just us a pkall. no need to flash or anything and i've never had it not work on toyota.

Just go to the website. www.idatalink.com The only thing they cover on the is and gs is immobilizer. No locks or retaining factory remote function.

Just did an 07 is250 with flcan and factory fobs did not work when car is running.  Had to go in the door for doorlocks/factory alarm control.  Where is the best place to get parking lights in this jalopy, we ran a wire all the way over to pass. fuse box to trigger negative parking lights.

there are 2 wires

both are available on driver side.

Parking light (+) BROWN @ driver fuse box grey 30pin plug, pin 24
parking light (-) YELLOW @ driver fuse box 28pin plug pin 5 Notes: The plug is on the side of the fuse box facing the firewall.

Looking at the installation manual of the Viper 5101, do i need diodes to wire the power locks? It look like lock trigger and unlock trigger wire can be connected to either + or -. Installing this on a Lexus IS350. Thanks.

I just got done installing the python 580 and pkall. I just want to thank you guys for helping out. Programming the bypass was a breeze. All I can say is remote start are easy to install as long as you have the time and knowledge of the cars' electrical.
