Can someone please recommend books that will help me learn more about these modern car security and convenience features. I have mostly dealt with vintage tin. I want to understand more about all the different bypass modules, etc. intermediate to advanced.

Thanks

thanks for the reply. i will give the MECP books a try. I read the posts from experienced instalers and its amazing the knowledge that is retained and shared here. I restore old cars as a hobby but have had requests for late model stuff. I have pulled a few installs off. But I like would love to understand all the : databus, can bus, immobilizer, key stuff. my clients usually only need AIR FUEL and 12V at the coil, and brief 12V at starter.
