I'm installing a Viper 5901 on my 2005 Chevy Express Van. I believe everything is working except for passlock bypass which I'm not sure how to properly wire. Remote start attempts but security light flashes and kills startup. I'm using the XK06 with PKG7 firmware.
On the top of the key switch I have a three pin black connector with Yellow / Tan / ORANGE / White. In this plug I determined Yellow is the resisor and have properly wired the green (resisor code input) and blue (resistor code output) wires here. I read that I don't use the ORANGE / White which has 12+Volts present at all times. There is also a plug on the bottom of the keyswitch with a tan and green wire - Not sure if these are used?
So the questions is: What do I need to do with the remaining Violet/White (12 Volt Output) and Violet (Data) wires on the XK06? Where do these need to go on my vehicle? I'm using D2D so I do not believe any of the other wires are needed except for the Orange +12Volt Starter which looks like goes to the remote start status on the 5901.
Thanks so much for the help!

you want it flashed for PLXR not PKG7... it's PL II not the new hybrid system......

Ok thanks, will try that. I could have sworn the express van was listed under the firmware I'm using.
Looking at the PLXR manual now, which diagram should be followed?

I flashed the XK06 with the PXLR and followed the wiring diagram with no problems except the passlock ground. I can't ohm out any of the wires in the passlock ignition key harness. The yellow is obviously resistance and the ORANGE / white is 12v all thats left is the tan, but it's not working. The two wires on the bottom of the igition switch Tan and Green do not ohm out either. Am I missing something?

Also, on the XK06 the orange (Starter output) and pink (Ignition Power Source) should they go to 12AWG ignition wires or to the Remote start output (relay out) on the 5901? Thanks again!
